SKC Sharing Know-how with Caregivers
Every day, more than 350 people develop dementia in Canada. By 2030, it is estimated that nearly 1 million Canadians will be living with dementia.*
Each year, family and friends provide over 580 million hours (equivalent to 290,000 full-time jobs) of care to people living with dementia. **
SKC is determined to change the perception of dementia and deliver PAC™ dementia care training to healthcare and home care professionals, as well as individuals and family caregivers.
